What qualifies someone to be a real estate appraiser?California requires all real estate appraisers to hold a state license or certification. This certifies that they have fulfilled rigorous education and have an applicable experience in this industry. They must strictly adhere to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), a professional code of ethics as promulated by the Office of Real Estate Appraisals. They also are required to attend ongoing continuing education courses. |
